I  try my best too keep my hair regimen very simple as possible.

Daily Hair Regimen

Step 3-Scalp
JBCO every other day.

Step 1- Prepoo
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly
Step 2-Shampoo
2 washes with Aphogee Shampoo For Damage Hair.Then i blot dry my hair with the towel and then its on to my deep conditioner.
Step 3-Deep Conditioner
Queen Helene Hair Cream mixed with all my oils and some gylcerin with a plastic cap for 35 minutes under my hooded dryer.After that its back to the shower to rinse my DC out and detangle with a wide tooth comb.And then i do a rinse with a moisturizing conditioner.
Step 4-Leaving Conditioner
Cantu Shea Butter Leaving along with Coconut Oil then i detangle again with the wide tooth comb
Step 5-Styling
Air Dry Always And then i do a bun or braidout.

Clarifying Shampoo-Wash
Step 1-Shampoo
1 Wash with Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo
Then Follow up with step 2 -5 From Above

Co-wash 2x Week
Note:I do my Dc before i do my Co-wash.

What is Methylsulfonylmethane?

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), also known as dimthyl sulfone, is an organosulfur compound with the formula (CH3)2SO2. This colourless solid features the sulfone functional group and is considered relatively inert chemically. It occurs naturally in some primitive plants and is present in small amounts in many foods and beverages and it is marketed as a dietary supplement, although its benefits are disputed.

So what exactly is MSM? Official MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane. Quite simply MSM is a food that comes from the ocean, is water soluble, and is not a drug, or a food additive. MSM is the 3rd largest ingredient found in the human body.

MSM is a natural form of organic sulfonyl sulfur compound that is found in the fluid of all living organisms. It is present in a variety of foods, including most fresh raw fruits and green vegetables, milk, meat, seafood, and some grains. It is also found in many common beverages such as milk, coffee and tea. It is, in essence, a pure white, odorless, essentially tasteless, water-soluble crystalline solid sulfur powder

Why does MSM help with the development of longer and stronger hair? Various scientific studies have proven that MSM contributes a definite normalizing effect on body functions.
The sulfur normally provided to the body by MSM is required for healthy collagen and keratin which are essential for healthy hair, skin and nails. MSM also has proven antioxidant benefits which can disrupt or alter damaging chain reactions of lipid peroxidation in the cell membranes.
MSM is considered to be one of the safest substances in biology, similar in toxicity to water. MSM and its related compounds are the source of 85 percent of the sulfur found in all living organisms. Many researchers believe that sulfur, is a sorely neglected mineral nutrient and plays an indispensable role in human nutrition.
MSM is volatile and is easily lost during even moderate processing. Cooking, drying, smoking, pickling, and long-term storage can deplete the MSM content of food. Unless the human diet is composed primarily of raw foods, it is unlikely that sufficient MSM will be ingested to significantly contribute to the nutritional sulfur requirement.

MSM Sulfonyl Is Safe
Sulfonyl Sulfur, which is a key ingredient of MSM, should not be confused with other ingredients like sulfa, sulfite or sulfate. Sulfa, sulfite and/or sulfate are harmful derivatives of the sulfur family which the body does not need and is not in any way included in MSM.
Sulfa is used in wounds to burn and cauterize while sulfites are put in common foods to prevent the bugs from eating them, and sulfates are used in lunch meats and sausages to preserve them.
Some people may be allergic to sulfa's, sulfites, and sulfates which are part of the sulfur family like MSM.
The sulfonyl in MSM is nutritional, and it is extremely rare that humans are ever allergic to it. Remember, all human bodies require MSM.

What Is DMSO?
MSM should also not be confused with DMSO. Although MSM and DMSO have some similarities, they are also unique in the benefits that they provide.
MSM is DMSO without the bad smelling chemical D1-Methyl. Research chemist Robert Herschler discovered how to oxidize DMSO, causing MSM to crystallize becoming pure and stable. This process made it possible to store MSM and use as needed without the bad taste or smell. The body uses MSM to create new healthy cells.
Vitamins and amino acids work with MSM to repair and create these healthy cells. Without proper levels of MSM, our bodies are unable to build good healthy cells, and this can lead to all sorts of illness.
To maintain good health, we need good flexible, healthy cells. Illness is the result and consequence of a body deficient of materials needed to repair damaged tissue and organs.
To fight this deterioration process we must supplement our diets with MSM to provide the body with the proper building materials to maintain a healthy body.

New Cells 24 Hours A Day
MSM has been proven to be rapidly metabolized by the body. Sulfur is found in all tissues measured within 24 hours of oral ingestion.
The majority of unused and metabolized MSM occurs within 95-100 hours following ingestion, although measurable quantities have been reported in urine 400-450 hours. Sulfur has a rapid turnover in the body. Therefore it is very important to be sure that sulfur be replenished on a regular basis.
If our body doesn't receive the proper nutrition and the building materials it needs, it will produce unhealthy, dysfunctional cells that are deficient in the basic ingredients that constitute a healthy cell.
The human body is amazing and always tries to heal itself, but with deficient materials, it draws from other resources, and usually takes what it needs from other parts of the body.

Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to take vitamin C along with MSM to make it work. If you are unable to take vitamin C, MSM will still work for you.

No Overdose With MSM.
The body will use what it needs, and after twelve hours, will flush any excess amounts out of the body. If you want to maintain good healthy cells 24 hours a day, it is suggested you take MSM in the morning and evening. The MSM will flush what the body doesn't retain semi-permanently every twelve hours, and because it is a free radical and foreign protein scavenger. MSM cleans the blood stream, so allergies to food and pollens go away in about 3 or 4 days.
Toxicity studies completed on MSM demonstrated that the compound is remarkably non-toxic. Extremely high dosages, up to 2,000 mg/kg, were utilized for measurement purposes in the toxicity research with no adverse reaction measured.

No Known Side Effects
Acute, intermediate, and long term studies indicate that MSM exhibits very low toxicity, by any route of administration. In fact, MSM has a toxicity profile similar to that of glycerin and water. Aqueous solutions of MSM have been used as safe blood dilutents, demonstrating it to be nonallergenic, nonpyretic, and without adverse pharmacological effect.
MSM has been widely used as a dietary supplement without any reports of allergy or intolerance related to its use. Supplements of MSM are comfortably assimilated without side effects. There are no known contraindications.
MSM is odorless and does not produce intestinal gas or body odor which may occur with some other forms of sulfur.

The only side effects of taking MSM alone, or with other supplements like HairTopia, are stronger nails, softer skin and faster growing hair. This is because with MSM you have access to more sulfur.

Relaxer/Hair Progress.

Hey every i just wanted to share a updated with you guys i did my relaxer yesterday because i was 8 weeks post lol.And on monday and tuesday nigth i took my ORS Jojoba Oil and i put it all over my hair but not on the new growth the reason i did that i becasue i read this girls regimen Here is its is

I kinda stumbled upon not relaxing the hair super straight a couple of years ago. One time, I accidentally relaxed my hair with a lot of oil and grease in it, and the relaxer didn’t take. I was so pissed because I wasn’t use to all the curl and body (The oil keeps the relaxer from penetrating the hair strand). Eventually, I got use to all the thickness and curls, so I continued to apply a lot of oil and grease to my previously relaxed hair before each relaxer. Over time, the hair got fuller due to this.
Basically, I relax my hair just like the instructions in the relaxer kits.
1) Before relaxing, I lightly detangle the hair with a shower comb (the hair doesn’t have to be super detangled).
2) I create 12 parts, I apply a lot of Vaseline, grease, or oil (im sure that they all work pretty well) to the previously relaxed hair (not directly to the roots). I twist each section into a Bantu knot and secured with butterfly clamps. I also apply a lot of grease to my kitchen area, and around my hair line.
3) I unravel 1 section at a time, and apply relaxer to it. I do the front first and the back last.
4)I lightly smooth the hair, probably for about 1 minute or 2 before I rinse. I leave the relaxer on for about 12-15 minutes in total. Depending on how fast I can get it on.
5) I wash my hair about 6-8 times to ensure that the relaxers out…..Two times is not enough.
6) I condition with a mixture of conditioner and oil, and I sit under the dryer for about 20 minutes before rinsing.
To make a long story short, just apply a lot of grease, oil, or vasline to the previously relaxed hair before relaxing. This will prevent overlapping and overprocessing, and over time the hair will thicken up.)

So i decided to try it so on monday and tuesday nigth that was i did and then i took a plastic wrap and put it on my hair so that it didn't mess up my pillow.I did this because i honestly didn't want my hair bone straight but i wanted the new growth straigth so i made sure i didn't put in on the newgrowth.I do my realxer my self and sometimes when i want to treat my self i go to the salon where i have one person do my hair.Anyways i just wanted to share that with you guys and here is some pics.

And here is another of my new growth that i relaxed and my progress below.

My Hair Regimen Updated

My Weekly Regimen

Prepoo- With ORS Hair Mayo with a mix of 2tsp of Grapeseed oil,Coconut Oil,& Vitamin E Oil with a plastic cap for 2-Hours or sometime overnigth.
ShampooWash-Aphogee Shampoo For Damage Hair (2 washes) After that i use the Aphogee Deep Moisture Shampoo(2 washes)then after the washes i towel dry my hair and then add the Aphogee Keratin 2min Reconstructor and leave it on for 5minutes with a plastic cap(I must say these products has helped my hair alot)
DeepConditioner -Queen Helene Cholesterol mixed with 2tsp of sweet almond oil,jojoba oil,Acovado oil,amla oil,4 drops of peppermint oil & some Honey ,Gylcerin(yes i know there the same thing) with a plastic cap under the dryer for 35 minutes and when its done i stil leave it for another couple of minutes while i do some house chores.Then wash it out and Detangle with a very big tooth comb.
Leave-in Conditioner-Nexxus Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Spray i also spray the Aphogee Keratin Green Tea Spray,And I use the ic fantaisa Heat Protection Serum and i detangle with a very big tooth comb.
Styling- I air dry and when my hair is completely dry i do a bun or some braids if i am up to it i would rollerset.

Co-wash 1xweek(Wednesdays)
Deepconditioner-Queen Helene Cholesterol mixed with 2tsp of sweet almond oil,jojoba oil,Acovado oil,amla oil,4 drops of peppermint oil & some Honey ,Gylcerin(yes i know there the same thing) with a plastic cap under the dryer for 35 minutes.Then wash it out and Detangle with a very big tooth comb.( i do my DC before i do my co-wash to make it easier for me to not be in and out of the shower)
Conditioner- Suave Naturals Conditioner, Tropical Coconut( I like it)
Leave-in-Herbal Essence Longterm Relationship,Ic Fantaisa Heat Protection Serum.Then detangle with a very big tooth comb.
Styling- I air dry and when my hair is completely dry i do a bun or some braids if i am up to it i would rollerset.

Wednesdays/Sundays(oil scalp)
Oil-Castor Oil

Moisturizer-Silk Elements Silken Child Hair Moisturizer
Seal-Castor Oil(not with too much)

Clarfying Shampoo 1x Month
Shampoo-Nexxus Aloe Rid
Then i follow my usual regimen DC etc.

Elasta QP No-Base Creme Relaxer(regualr)
Elasta QP Stop-Action Neutralizing Shampoo
That i follow with the usual shampoo,DC etc.

My Hair After A AirDry

Ok today i did my co-wash i got up very early to do that i and after that i decided to do a airdry because for some reason i don't like having wet or better yet damp hair on my head am someone who is always the attraction for a cold.Lol and i hate that because when i get sick i mean its really sick.Anyways i did the airdry and when my hair was complete dry i just oil my scalp with the castor oil and took a paddle brush and make sure that my hair was completely detangle.And i got this look after that it seem like was wearing a wet&wavy wig.Even my mother-in-law thougth it was a wig and the i went out and i had people coming up to mean say your hair is so pretty.lolAnyways enough of me mumbling.

What is Biotin?

Biotin, also known as vitamin H or B7, has the chemical formula C10H16N2O3S (Biotin; Coenzyme R, Biopeiderm), is a water-soluble B-complex vitamin which is composed of an ureido (tetrahydroimidizalone) ring fused with a tetrahydrothiophene ring. A valeric acid substituent is attached to one of the carbon atoms of the tetrahydrothiophene ring. Biotin is a cofactor in the metabolism of fatty acids and leucine, and in gluconeogenesis.

General overview
Biotin is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids. It plays a role in the Citric acid cycle, which is the process by which biochemical energy is generated during aerobic respiration. Biotin not only assists in various metabolic reactions, but also helps to transfer carbon dioxide. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Biotin is often recommended for strengthening hair and nails. Consequently, it is found in many cosmetic and health products for the hair and skin.
Deficiency is extremely rare, as intestinal bacteria generally produce an excess of the body's daily requirement. For that reason, statutory agencies in many countries (e.g., the Australian Department of Health and Aging) do not prescribe a recommended daily intake.

Biotin is widely distributed in a variety of foods, but most often at low concentrations. Estimates are that the typical U.S. diet provides roughly 40 ug/day. There are only a couple of foods which contain biotin in large amounts, including royal jelly and brewer's yeast. The best natural sources of biotin in human nutrition are liver, legume, soybeans, swiss chard, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and carrots. This includes almonds, eggs, onions, cabbage, cucumber, cauliflower, goat's milk, cow's milk, raspberries, strawberries, halibut, oats, and walnuts. The most important natural sources in feeding nonruminant animals are oilseed meals, alfalfa, and dried yeasts. It is important to note that the biotin content of food varies and can be influenced by factors such as plant variety, season, and yield (endosperm-to-pericarp ratio).[2]

Adequate intake are determined for nutrients when there is insufficient scientific evidence to establish a Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA). These values are set as goals for individuals to support adequate nutritional status. NOTE: U.S. Food and supplement labels show 30 ug of biotin as providing only 10% DV (Daily Value) because DVs are based on older and in some instances outdated RDAs for nutrients. Thus, the DV for biotin is 300 ug even though there is now consensus that 30 ug is adequate. There is no current Tolerable Upper Limit (UL) set for biotin as research has indicated that high levels of intake by humans has no detrimental effects.


Hair Problems
Biotin supplements are often recommended as a natural product to counteract the problem of hair loss in both children and adults. The signs and symptoms of biotin deficiency include hair loss which progresses in severity to include loss of eye lashes and eye brows in severely deficient subjects. Some shampoos are available that contain biotin, but it is doubtful whether they would have any useful effect, as biotin is not absorbed well through the skin.

Cradle cap (seborrheic dermatitis)
Children with a rare inherited metabolic disorder called phenylketonuria (PKU; in which one is unable to break down the amino acid phenylalanine) often develop skin conditions such as eczema and seborrheic dermatitis in areas of the body other than the scalp. The scaly skin changes that occur in people with PKU may be related to poor ability to use biotin. Increasing dietary biotin has been known to improve seborrheic dermatitis[citation needed] in these cases.

People with type 2 diabetes often have low levels of biotin. Biotin may be involved in the synthesis and release of insulin. Preliminary studies in both animals and people suggest that biotin may help improve blood glucose control in those with diabetes, particularly type 2 diabetes.[6] Specifically, biotin doses in excess of nutritional requirements lower postprandial glucose and improve glucose tolerance.[2]

My Hair Regimen

This is my hair regimen its very simple for me aleast i use a weekly planner to set as my hair schedule i bougth it from the dollar store.Lol.

My Weekly Regimen
Prepoo-Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Pak with 2 tsp of amla oil for 35minutes in a baggie
Shampoo- Nexxus Therrape Shampoo (2washes)
DC- Nexxus Humectress Conditioner with a mix of ,coconut,grapeseed,Castor oils and honey(2tsp each)with a plastic cap under the dryer for 45minutes.
Leave-In-Cantu shea butter leavin conditioner along with my aphogee kertain&greentea spray.I also add some ic fantaisa heat protecting serum.That way my hair can detangle easy.
Blow Dry-I spray my motion heat seeker and then start blowing drying .
Styling-I either do braid outs or a bun or even a flat iron.

Co-wash 2xweek(Wednesdays)
Conditioner-Vo5 Moisture Milk
DC-Motions Moisture Plus conditioner with a mix of,coconut,grapeseed,Castor,amla oils and honey for 45 minutes in a baggie under the dryer.
Leave-In-Herbal Essence Longterm relationship Leave-in
Blow Dry-I use the ic fantaisa heat protection serum that way my hair is easy to detangle.I spray some Motions Heat Seeker spray and start blowing drying.
styling-I either flat iron or do a braid out.

Mondays/Fridays(oil scalp)
I oil my scalp with Organic Root Stimulator Jojoba Oil

Moisturize- Silk Elements Silken Child Silk Moisturizing Creme
Seal-.Grapeseed oil
